cardiac anesthesia at NYU
in 2001.

Dr. Awad is a Board Certified
in Anesthesia and is a
Diplomat of the American
Board of Anesthesiologists,
He also certified in peri-
operative Transosphgeal
Echocardiography.
He with the cooperation of
NYU cardiac surgeons started
a new cardiac surgery
program at Atlantic city
Medical center, NJ in 2001.
Now Dr. Awad is the director
of cardiothoracic anesthesia at
Cooper University Hospital in
New Jersey

CAW is developed to address basic knowledge and skills of cardiac
Anesthesia needed to advance in echocardiography and perioperative care
of patients with cardiovascular, major vascular and thoracic diseases.
Materials include basic echocardiography and cardiac anesthesia manual.
Methods used to reinforce learning include a broad variety of educational
materials and Audiovisual media, with the information and skills that will
reinforce the knowledge base and introduce new concepts and clinical
practice skills to help advance in the field of cardiovascular anesthesia.
